Ensembles

Symphonic Band:

This band is composed of our most talented young musicians, all of whom are very hard working. The students in this group went through a rigorous audition to be a part of this ensemble. This band has consistently received superior ratings at MPA. Congratulations!

Concert Band:

Our concert band is mostly comprised of 7th graders who are just coming out the beginning classes. The music is challenging, yet still at a relatively beginner pace. This band now also attends District Festival.

Beginning Band:

This band is comprised of our newest musicians and is divided into the following classes:



Beginning Percussion

Beginning Flute and Sax

Beginning Clarinet

Beginning Brass



Dividing the students when they are first learning these instruments allows the director to give more of the individual attention that is typically needed.
